i wanna play vivecraft in steamvr on my quest 2 but it doesnt load any worlds. it just says something about javaw.exe

So I just bought the Oculus Link to use with my Quest 2 so I can play steam games. I got everything all setup with Oculus home and connected my vr, made sure the cable worked, everything to my knowledge is in order. However when I select Oculus link in my quest 2 the black loading screen appears for like 30 seconds then is closes and re enters settings. The weird thing was it was kind of connected, I had Blade and sorcery open on my pc through steam and when I moved my headset it looked around in the game through my pc monitor as if everything was perfect. However like I said my quest 2 was just a black loading screen and everything stopped after about 30 seconds.
when i try to turn on the oculus, the oculus logo appears, the jingle that normally plays on startup sounds, but is immediately followed by blackness. if i wait half a minute, the guardian boundry appears. the guardian boundry still reacts to my posituon. restarting does not work. pressing the power button and pressing it again does not work.
Hello guys I updated my Quest 2 by going to settings, about, and then clicking on update. I did this 2 days ago. Yesterday when I tried using the Quest it turns on, but it never loads into the confirm guardian menu or the main menu either. It's just permanently black. If I step outside of the guardian I it goes to pass-through mode and I can see the room and the guardian, but once you step inside it just goes back to a black screen. I can turn it off and on just fine and ifnI hold the oculus button the re-entering icon comes out. I left it alone all day yesterday hoping it would fix itself, but it's still not working. This isn't the first time something like this has happened either. There's at least one other occasion where the Quest just wouldn't launch into any menu's but that eventually resolved itself after a day. This time doesn't seem like it will anymore though
