I'm looking at the Quest 2 as a standalone product without needing the gaming PC investment (we're pretty ingrained in the Mac infrastructure & don't want to buy a separate PC just for this), so the Rift is out of the question. How's the library looking these days? Is there enough quality content there to support the $300 price tag?
I've been through the store and it doesn't look bad, but some input from people who've been actively engaged with it for some time would be awesome.
Edit (copied from below): I guess a bit of extra context helps – I already have a PS5 & am thinking about this as a stop-gap until the VR2 comes out – BUT that's probably not 'till late '22 or '23 at the earliest. My wife is really interested in VR and so I was thinking this would be something fun for the both of us to play around with – and $300 isn't that much for an intro VR experience as a stop gap.
She's more interested in the Nat Geo experiences, but if there's not a lot of quality items out for it, it's still not worth it.
