So like many people, im trying to get my hands on the oculus quest 2
I live in portugal and they dont sell here at all, anywhere… so i searched the EU amazons and its not available in any of them. i searched for online stores all around europe, but its either all out of stock, a bit pricey after shipping (over 400€) or they dont ship to portugal at all.
Meanwhile i have completely ignored amazon uk, thought it would be out of stock like every other european amazon or even if it had stock the cost after import taxes would be too high.
Desperate enough I do give it a try, search for the oculus quest 2 there, costs 299£ (350€), i add it to the basket just to see how much it would cost after import taxes and suddenly the price drops to 249£ (288€) which is cheaper than everywhere
after adding import taxes and shipment it costs me 372€ and thats still cheaper than i could get anywhere else
Well, the question is why does that sound too good to be true? do they lower the price to compensate for the import taxes? is it because i have prime? or what am i not seeing?
PS: dont run it out of stock please
