Brought my quest 2 over to a friend's place to let them try out a game in VR. Installed steamVR, oculus, and virtual desktop. Everything seemed to be working, other than him getting a bit motion sick.
When he stopped to take a break, I put on the headset, and noticed something odd. The outer field of view was moving faster when turning your head. Like if you took single pixel at the left side of your view, then rotated your head left at a constant speed, that pixel would seem to be slowing down as it neared the center, then speeding up as it got closer to the right. Causing everything on the outer edges to either squish together, or stretch out as you turned your head. I've never seen or even heard about this before.
It only happened in SteamVR home/games. Virtual desktop and native games it was fine.
